Christmas Concert 2021: Music & Rehearsal Tracks

The concert is on Sunday 5th December 2021 at St. Mary's Church, Churchgate Street, Harlow, CM17 0JT. Pre-concert rehearsal begins at 2pm. The concert begins at 3.30pm and will last about an hour. Afterwards drinks, biscuits and mince pies will be served.

Parking at the church can be difficult, so if you can walk I would recommend it. Otherwise, in previous years we have had luck parking on Sheering Road and walking to the church. If you have access to Google Maps, you will see "Pages Hotel and Guest House" on Sheering Road, if you park near to that, there is a footpath which takes you to the church.

Dress code is black below the waist (trousers or skirts) and white above the waist (shirts or blouses). Red scarfs for the women and red bow ties for the men will be provided. As will black folders to hold our music, if you don't already have one.

What follows is the preliminary concert program. Items marked "Carol for All" are carols to be sung in unison with the audience (descant's are encouraged but not mandatory) and the words can be found here (pending a digital copy from Sara). If you are unsure of the melody each carol links to a recording from YouTube.

Rehearsal tracks are mp3's of individual parts, if you want the help. Simplified sheet music are pdf's of individual parts written out in full to avoid the words and music being in totally different places. If you are happy and confident with your part, I would encourage you to ignore the simplified sheet music, but it exists if you want it.
